Chad Dean is the owner, operator, and lead recruiter at Integrated Management Resources. He has 18 years of experience as a professional recruiter. During his collegiate undergrad program, Chad played Varsity Golf while managing his schooling and work. His recruiting career began in 1996 with Aerotek in Austin, Texas. There, he began by recruiting tech engineers. Chad returned to his native Arizona in 1998, while continuing to recruit engineers for the technology and aerospace industries. In 2003, while working full time and going to school in the evenings for his MBA, Chad met Barry Franklin, the founder of Integrated Management Resources. Chad quickly joined Barry, and learned the financial industry, which coincided nicely with his MBA finance classes. In 2009, Chad took over ownership of Integrated Management to continue the legacy that Barry Franklin had built. Chad is passionate about his family, competing in triathlons, and enjoys the great outdoors. He has a Bachelors in Biology from Fort Hays State University, and an MBA from Arizona State University.
Barry Franklin founded Integrated Management Resources in 1990, with the focus of building a Financial Capital Markets and Executive Search firm that would specialize on Wall Street recruiting. In the beginning, Barry worked hard, as the company’s only recruiter, to build the brand name and the integrity and professionalism that is associated with Integrated Management Resources. Being born and raised virtually alone in Manhattan, Barry developed an extremely strong work ethic and a tremendous desire to be successful through hard work and dedication.
He worked extensively with Managing Directors of Foreign Exchange, Equity, and Fixed Income groups who were responsible for making markets in Cash, Options, and Derivative Products. More recently, Barry specializes in placing quantitative modelers, quantitative strategists, Structurers, and Traders. Because of Barry’s original vision, and through the support and leadership of the current owner, Chad Dean, Integrated Management has made some of the most successful Risk Management placements on Wall Street, along with model developers, quant developers and model validators.
Jordan Rockowitz is a former attorney and fifteen year plus recruiter. His concentration is on placing quantitative analysts, quantitative risk managers and portfolio managers. Prior to joining Integrated Management Resources, Jordan was President and Chief Executive Officer of a New York City legal recruiting firm. He graduated with a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law and a BA from Stony Brook University.
Martin’s background includes 15 years of International and Investment Banking with Citi, and 15 years in Recruiting. Martin is a Dutch immigrant, went to business schools in London and Paris, and has worked in London, Dublin, Rome, Milan, Riyadh, and New York for Citi. His diverse banking background and extensive hiring experience has promoted his success in “retained” and “difficult” searches. Examples of successful searches include “Diversity” assignments, Transmigration searches for Asian and Emerging Markets desks, and Multi Asset Class candidate searches. Currently, Martin specializes in Sales and Trading roles in Fixed Income (Credit, Foreign Exchange, Emerging Markets). He also handles Capital Market roles concentrating on Small and Mid Cap companies.
Gary is a Sr. Director covering recruiting efforts, and heads up the Risk Management and Quantitative Analytics practice. He specializes in working with, and placing, MBS Quants, analysts, and strategists covering Agency, Non-Agency, Distressed and Whole Loans. As well, Gary focuses on Front and Middle Office Quants, covering Fixed Income, Equities, Market and Credit Risk. Prior to recruiting, Gary spent 15 years as the founder and President of Vista Capital Corporation, an equipment leasing and finance company securing funding for businesses nationwide. Gary holds a BS in Finance from California State University Chico.
Thom has worked in the capital markets industry for over 38 years. He built a successful book of business as an institutional bond sales generalist working for both primary and regional b/d’s for 21 years. During the past 17 years, Thom has been actively engaged as a Wall Street headhunter. He specializes his search business on institutional bond sales and trading, sales management, public finance, and investment banking. Thom believes the key to making successful placements is the ability to listen in detail to his clients and candidates.
Early in his career, Jim provided financial advisory, finance, and investment solutions for municipalities, universities, colleges, public utilities, and fortune 500 companies. Starting in the financial services industry in 1983 with a top tier Wall Street firm, he specialized in providing corporate cash management, retirement plan advisory services, as well as employee stock option plans. For the last 32 years, Jim has been providing comprehensive wealth management for his clients who are high net worth families and business owners. These services include advising and managing his client’s investments, providing tax, legacy and estate planning, as well as structuring income strategies once they reach the retirement phase of their lives. Jim has recently retired from the financial services industry and is now Managing Director of Mergers and Acquisitions with Integrated Management Resources. Jim specializes in assisting financial Advisors and Wealth Management Teams when they are ready to transition their practice to another platform or business model. Jim is part of the Greater Phoenix SCORE chapter, volunteering as a business mentor and education presenter, and is an active member of the Arizona Small business Association (ASBA) Business Mentor Team. Jim, happily married for 35 years, is a 3rd generation Phoenix native and graduate of Northern Arizona University.
